As I explored Bari, Italy, I was immediately captivated by the City's charming old town and gorgeous coastal views. I walked through the narrow alleys, admiring all of the well-preserved medieval architecture and historic structures. I also had the opportunity to explore the Basilica di San Nicola (St. Nicolas), which is an important pilgrimage site for many. The aroma of freshly baked focaccia with the bustling fresh produce and fish markets added to the city's vibrant atmosphere. I made sure to indulge in some of the local delicacies such as orecchiette pasta and savory seafood dishes paired with some of the local wine. The hospitality of the locals was so warm and welcoming I never wanted to leave.
